1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using TipsCy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

TipsCy provides a QR-based platform for restaurants that enables guests to order food, leave tips, and pay bills from their mobile devices. The service includes a restaurant dashboard, staff management, analytics, and payment processing via Stripe.

3. Restaurant Accounts

To use TipsCy, restaurants must register with a valid email and verify their account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4. Payments & Tips

All payments are processed by Stripe. TipsCy takes 0% commission on tips — the full tip amount goes to the designated staff member, minus any Stripe processing fees. Restaurant bill payments are subject to Stripe's standard processing fees.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the service for fraudulent purposes, attempt to reverse engineer or hack the platform, create fake orders or tip transactions, use the service in violation of applicable laws, or share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.

6. Menu & Content

Restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of their menu items, prices, and descriptions. TipsCy is not liable for any errors or omissions in restaurant-provided content.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses caused by service downtime, technical issues, or interruptions beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

TipsCy's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon termination, your access to the dashboard will be revoked. Data will be retained per our Privacy Policy and then deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify registered restaurants by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus.
